How do I get a new trash / recycling barrel?
New residents who do not have a trash barrel may purchase one for $50. Barrels damaged or broken by automated collection equipment may be repaired or replaced by contacting the Waste Division at (860) 291-7363 or dgompper@easthartfordct.gov. New barrels may be picked up from Public Works or they may be delivered to your home for a $10 delivery fee.
