Deceased Animal in Roadway
A Public works employee is assigned to pick up deceased animals on town roadways on an on-call basis during normal business hours (7:30am-2pm) (7:30am-2pm).
To report an animal on State Roads-Main St/Rt. 5, Burnside Ave, Silver Ln, and CT Blvd are maintained by the State DOT for concerns on these roads please click HERE
After hours Please contact the East Hartford Police Department at 860-528-4401. Police will make a determination as to wether the Public Works 24 hour oncall personell will be notified to pick up the deceased animal within 4 hours.
